Glitter

If you’ve worked with glitter, you know it goes everywhere, you don’t remember touching your face but a visitor points it out. On the table, the chair, the floor, the ruler, your arm, your daughter and she didn’t help with the glitter activity.

Imagine you spending time on your knees in God’s presence, worshipping, praying, listening, reading His word. Glitter falling on you from heaven. You hug and kiss your hubby and kids good bye in the morning and some of your glitter gets stuck on them. You driving and you decide to offer a lift and some glitter drifts onto your passenger as they smile in appreciation. You greet the shop assistant and your glitter travels…

Your husband sees someone on the side of the road with a flat tyre and offers to change it for them, glitter tansfers in the handshake of thanks…

Your daughter listens to a friends worries and maybe she didn’t even say a word but her glitter goes…

Your son encourages a mate and the high five sparkles with glitter…

Thank You Lord God that you have blessed us with this glitter gift of your love. That is so freely given and so easily transferred.

More

Oh Lord, there is so much more that you want from us. To be open. To be honest. To Weep. To Worship. To Pray. Time. It all takes time. Time in God’s word is important.

I can’t do this on my own. I need you Lord. Help me please.

There is so much wisdom in the bible, so many truths, blessings, encouragements, reminders, Life can be found there. Grace & Love. Hope. Joy. Peace. Patience, which is something we all needing right now.

Read. Feast. Devour & Enjoy God’s Word. May there be healing in His presence, for our hearts, our minds, our bodies & our souls.

But most important Love. Love for God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. Love for the word of God. Love for each other. Love for his plans and purposes for our lives.

Lava of Love

Lord, may your church rise up and take it’s rightful place.

Luke 11:33-36 No one lights a lamp, then hides it. Put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light…

May the Holy Spirit rise up inside each one of us with Passion & Praise. May your church erupt like a volcano, may people see and know you. May your lava of love flow down the mountain, into the streets, into the people’s homes, into people’s hearts. May people’s lives be changed forever.

Matthew 5:14… “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden…let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

1 John 4:19

Feed My Sheep

Something that struck me on Sunday the 3rd of February when our pastor was speaking from John 21:15…”Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”  “Yes, Lord;” he said, “you know that I love you.”  Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” and again Jesus asked and then said, “Take care of my sheep.” and again he asked and then said, “Feed my sheep…”  Then he said to him, “Follow me!”  I always felt at the back of my mind that was the pastors job to “feed the Sheep” but I realised if I love Jesus, I need to feed the lambs, take care of the sheep and feed the sheep.  It’s a huge responsibility, it’s laying down your life, you’ve got to keep watch and protect them from the enemy.
